Dr. Andy Ramos graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA in 2018. He’s also received Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics, a comprehensive 200 hour program. He is in his seventh year of practice, and has recently completed the training, and obtained licensure for the practice of acupuncture in the state of Missouri.

Dr Andy Ramos was born and raised in Monterey County, CA. He served as a volunteer missionary for his church in Las Vegas, NV. Shortly after, he met and married his amazing Wife, joined the military as a US Army medic, and now has 3 beautiful daughters. Dr Ramos is embracing rural life here in Missouri. He’s enjoying raising animals, doing projects, serving in his church, and spending time with his family.

Dr Ramos truly believes that raising healthy and well adjusted families now, will lead to healthy and well adjusted communities in the future.
Jen Ramos
Office Manager
Jen is the office manager. She has been managing the Ramos household since 2010. She enjoys working and being involved in her community. In 2009 she obtained a Masters degree in Social Work, spending several years serving in that capacity. Jen homeschools their 3 girls and has been enjoying their family adventures since moving to Missouri last year, including this new adventure of being business owners. In her free time she prefers to be in her garden, read, and explore all things with her family.
Elsie Gibson
Receptionist
Elsie moved to the Mansfield area almost 5 years ago and has never looked back! She has a great love for the people in this community and desires to do her best to serve and give back. She is enthusiastic about learning and helping others improve their health and living the way the Lord designed.
When she's not working in the office, she enjoys hiking, playing music, baking, working on the many homestead projects, and being with her family.

HOW WE CAN HELP
CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINATION
The spine is the bridge of communication between your brain and your body. In fact, everything that your body can do is governed by the brain. Inevitably, the bones in the spine will slightly misalign due to something as simple as sitting in a chair. These misalignments are called subluxations. The chiropractic adjustment will correct these subluxations, and remove any nervous system traffic jams that are causing pain and dysfunction in your body.

New patients will be given a more detailed exam to find these subluxations, and also measure other vital signs and functions of the body.
CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS
Dr Ramos adjusts with a variety of techniques including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson Drops, and Activator. Some are higher force and may result in some popping sounds, while others are lower force and don't produce popping sounds. These adjustments will take pressure off of your nervous system, allowing your brain and body to heal, and function as it was designed to.

Babies and Children: Many of the adjustments, especially for babies, are modified and extremely gentle. As a certified pediatric chiropractor, Dr Ramos has a lot of experience with these adjustments.

The central nervous system is made up of the brain and spinal cord, and grows at its fastest pace within the first 2 years of life. Birth is a traumatic event for babies that almost guarantees subluxations. For this reason, it is recommended that all babies be checked for subluxations and adjusted as soon as you are ready.
PREGNANCY
Chiropractic care can even benefit your baby before birth! Your baby develops inside of the uterus, and the uterus is directly affected by misalignments, or subluxations, of the sacral and pelvic bones. Dr Ramos is certified in the WEBSTER TECHNIQUE, which balances out the skeletal and muscular components surrounding the baby during pregnancy, and also relieves pain for mom.
It is interesting to note that while chiropractors practice the Webster Technique, coincidentally, a high percentage of babies in a breeched (head up) position will move to a head down position. This is important in reducing complications during labor and delivery.
